Taken April 10, here are some videos of the litter of 11 puppies from the January breeding of our Chica to "Ruff" (Classic Ruffed Grouse). Every pup is doing well and is lined up to go to a new home late in May. Their eyes have been open for quite a while, and all are up playing on all four legs. We are seeing plenty of eye pigment already and lots of ticking coming through on bellies, lower legs and ears, even if not apparent in these videos. Much, much more color will show by the time they are 8 weeks old. In a day or two they will be moved to a larger pen where we will wean them over onto mush then solid food.
